The William Barry Trust
Supporting students on vocational courses since 1976
The Application Process
The application process is a simple and straightforward one; please follow these steps:

Check that you are eligible and enrolled (a conditional offer will NOT suffice) on a vocational type Foundation course or a first BA Degree course at a recognised university, college or educational facility in the United Kingdom.
(Note that no grants are awarded to students on a second Degree, Post Graduate, Master's or PhD courses).

Submit a HAND-WRITTEN application form by email by 31st December of the academic year which commenced in that September. Do NOT apply until you are actually enrolled.
Grants will be awarded during the term commencing the following January.

This application should include some information about you and your reasons for applying for your particular course, what you hope to achieve, how a grant from The William Barry Trust might help you and how you intend to fund the remainder of the costs you think you will face.

We will also require, during the award process, proof of enrollment on a vocational course at a UK educational facility.
